Circoolar Re-Branding

Academic Internship Project at Circoolar Ethical Workwear SL, Barcelona
Year : 2023

Circoolar revolves around the responsible recycling of aging fabrics and garments, transforming them into new clothing items tailored to their clientele's needs. I created a flexible visual system that was built upon Circoolar's existing logo and aligned with their brand values. This system needed to be adaptable across various formats, both in print and digital mediums. I developed campaigns to promote Circoolar's brand across different media platforms. It involved developing a cohesive set of visual elements that could be consistently used to represent Circoolar's identity.

Rebound

Elisava Master’s Project with Luisa Urrea
Year : 2023

Rebound was based on the idea of creating a home to those who want to change their mindset and positively impact our environment. In today’s society, consumerism, particularly over consumerism, as it continues to be an enduring challenge that has kept growing over the years. Its presence has excessively created a problem for us and shows no signs of slowing down. At Rebound, we are driven to enact a change.

Our Rebound Hub is the place to go and learn how to repair your "broken" clothing or tech pieces. We are a learning space, a community. We are here to guide you and help you but YOU are the one who will be doing the repairing. We become your tutor, while you become the master.

We Art Directed the photographs.

We want to help create meaningful experiences for consumers where they can engage themselves in the process of repairing their own devices, objects, and clothing. Our values include sustainability, we are a brand that promotes the reuse and repurposing of objects.

Type Workshop Mural

Live Type Painting - 'WHAT MOVES US?'
Year : 2023

I got the opportunity to paint my very first type mural as part of a workshop taken at ELISAVA by @highontype. Teamed up with Robert to paint one of the letters of a question on the walls at ELISAVA.

The initial takes/process of the letter 'S' went through a series of freehand brush strokes and decisions on how we would make the final judgement and the look of it.

Gothic : A Modular Typeface

Systematic Type Design Workshop at Elisava
Year : 2023

Walking through El Born, Barcelona I found an interesting pattern on a balcony of an apartment which inspired me to create the font Gothic. The bustling alleyways and streets in Gothic Quarters drew me to name and create the font as this neighbourhood has a rustic yet medival vibe to it. 1 week workshop taken by Martin Lorenz.

The Sea Project

Project course at Elisava
Year : 2023

My teammates and I collaborated on a project aimed at raising awareness about the alarming pollution levels in Barcelona's sea. To visually convey this message, we collected trash from the eight beaches along the coast and used cyanotype to imprint them onto a flag. We chose cyanotype due to its lower toxicity compared to other mediums and its reliance on natural elements like sunshine and water. Through this initiative, we hope to draw attention to the severity of pollution in the area and inspire others to take action.

Cyanoprinting - Using Potassium and Sodium, mixing both and applying it to the 100% cotton under the dark.

The idea to use a compilation of videos from was to mainly get the participants reaction and thoughts on either stories, similar incidents they may have faced in their past and their current, past upbringing or situations that are commonly still faced by them. These topics were further discussed by the participants on how they've stood their ground against such incidents.
