My teammates and I collaborated on a project aimed at raising awareness about the alarming pollution levels in Barcelona's sea. To visually convey this message, we collected trash from the eight beaches along the coast and used cyanotype to imprint them onto a flag. We chose cyanotype due to its lower toxicity compared to other mediums and its reliance on natural elements like sunshine and water. Through this initiative, we hope to draw attention to the severity of pollution in the area and inspire others to take action.Cyanoprinting - Using Potassium and Sodium, mixing both and applying it to the 100% cotton under the dark.
